Step 1 - Chop the nuts
Roughly chop the nuts and transfer to a plate.
Step 2 - Prepare the figs
Slice the figs with two cuts, keeping them connected at the bottom.
Step 3 - Add the honey
Spoon the honey onto a plate. Dip the figs into the honey and then into the chopped nuts. Place the figs onto a serving platter.
Step 4 - Add the ricotta
Carefully spoon a tablespoon of ricotta into the middle of each fig. Drizzle with honey and add more nuts on top of the figs.
Step 5 - To serve
Sprinkle some chopped fresh thyme to the top of the figs.
